DIGITAL LITERACY IMPLEMENTATION IN SOUTHWEST NIGERIA – Request for Expression of Interest

About DAWN Commission & Digital Literacy Implementation Committee

Development Agenda for Western Nigeria (DAWN) Commission is the body set up by the six Southwest States to midwife development in the Region. The Commission inaugurated the Digital Literacy Implementation Committee – Southwest Nigeria (DLIC-SW) with Prof. Olanike Adeyemo, the Pioneer D.V.C (Research, Innovation and Strategic Partnerships), University of Ibadan as the chairman and nominees of the Executive Governors of the six Southwest States and private sector actors as members. In order to achieve the mandate of repositioning the Region’s digital space towards making her economically competitive and compliant in the 21st century, the DLIC-SW hereby request for Expression of Interest (EoI) for interventional collaboration from both local and international organisations.

Focus Areas

The DLIC-SW would like to collaborate on delivering interventional programmes on key development issues, including but not limited to

  1. K-12 digital literacy in education
  2. Youth and Women Empowerment in the digital space,
  3. Human Capital Development, Ease of business and e-governance,
  4. Digital infrastructure.

 

Kindly note that the Committee will be more interested in sustainable proposals, hence we strongly recommend that you include a section dedicated to suggestions on financing model (s) and other sustainability plans.
