The team sought to strengthen its existing relationship with DAWN Commission and solicit the organization’s support on upcoming programmes and activities.

Areas of collaboration explored were: the planned Direct Investors Summit and the National Conference on Investment, capacity building for Investment Promotion Agencies in the Southwest, and the National Investment Certification Programme for Southwest States.

The Director-General of DAWN Commission, Mr. Seye Oyeleye, appreciated the delegation for recognizing the Commission as an apolitical organization and platform for attracting investment in the Southwest.

He assured them of the Commission’s support in mobilizing relevant stakeholders for the successfully delivery of the NIPC’s policies and programmes.

Mr. Seye Oyeleye expressed his desire at working with the NIPC to address some of the bottlenecks facing existing and prospective investors within the Southwest and Nigeria.
